The DuraShelf Grid Top Panel 3ft x 8ft is an exceptionally durable, industrial-grade plastic shelving solution designed for a wide range of applications, including warehouse storage, industrial workspaces, and water gardening. In water feature setups, DuraShelf Grid panels serve as a sturdy base for bubbling boulders or fountains positioned above a water reservoir. The panel’s large grid spacing allows water to flow through effortlessly while supporting rocks larger than one inch. To prevent smaller rocks and debris from passing through, a fine mesh grating is often placed on top of the grid shelf.
Shelves are made of Chemical-resistant HDPE plastic, a polyethylene thermoplastic created from petroleum that’s resistant to UV rays, weathering, corrosion and is one of the most commonly used plastics in the United States. Additionally, the material does not leak any kind of toxic chemicals into the soil or water.
Large grid shelves can be cut to size for specific applications such as, for example, being used with a square fountain reservoirs.
