Pond Basics Oxy Wash 8lbs is a powerful powder formula that brings safe, oxygen based, cleaning to large ponds, lakes, koi ponds, and water gardens. Oxy Wash quickly and effectively cleans rocks, waterfalls, statures, plant pots, and other surfaces found in water features.
Application: For spot treatments apply a light layer of powder to problem area such as rocks and waterfalls. For light treatments apply 3-4oz per 1,000 gallons of pond water every 2-4 weeks or as needed. For heavy treatments apply 6-8oz per 1,000 gallons of pond water every 2-4 weeks or as needed. For waterfalls and streams turn the water pump off and apply a light layer of product. Wait 10-20 minutes before resuming pump operation.
Attention: Avoid contact with plant leaves. Oxy Wash may cause short term spikes in water pH levels. Failure to use Oxy Wash as directed, or sudden changing in water conditions not consistent with product label, may result in loss or injury to aquatic life. Always make sure there is proper aeration.
