Aeration

Proper aeration within ponds and lakes is an important contributor to their overall health by providing a multitude of benefits to aquatic ecosystems. Aeration assists beneficial bacteria in the breakdown of debris and waste material and enhances water circulation; reducing stratification. Aeration also increases the amount of dissolved oxygen available to fish and plants, and helps maintain gas exchange through the winter.
