Classic Series Black UV 15 Watt

The Classic Series Black UV 15 Watt by Aqua Ultraviolet is a UV sterilizer with ¾ (0.75) inches plumbs in-line that can sterilize fresh water up to 200-500 gallons with a flow rate of 700 gallons/hr and saltwater up to 75 gallons with a flow rate of 233 gallons/hr. It is also used as a freshwater clarifier for up to 2000 gallons. The Classic UV 15-Watt Series Units are a reliable, cost-effective, environmentally friendly sterilizer alternative to chemicals and their resulting bi-products.

Classic Series Instruction Manual
For Reef Tanks: A UV rated in the 30,000 or 45,000 µw/cm2 (EOL) is ideal for the reef environment. UV’s used at higher kill rates will destroy the planktonic food supply for the reef.
For Marine Fish: (No reef or live rock) A UV rated in the 75,000 or 90,000 µw/cm2 (EOL) will be the most effective at controlling fish disease. All UV dosages are calculated at the end of lamp life (14 months).

*Aqua Ultraviolet does not recommend utilizing Wipers with Salt Water and if utilized in this manner will void warranty on the Wiper parts.
