In the beginning, you should get the fish interested in the new toy by putting feed into the ball from below. After a while, they will include the ball in their daily route. Close observation is also an ideal way of checking that your fish are healthy. The transparent ball can be cleaned with soapy water. The cloth cover can also be washed out. During winter time, at temperatures below 0°C you should remove the Floating Fish Dome from the pond. Clean all parts and store it in a dry and frost free place.
Installation
- Make sure that the floating ring is positioned properly in the cover and then place the transparent dome on the float.
- Click the plastic parts together to form a ring. Make sure that the holes for the screws are in the right position.
- Insert the screws, with the washers, in the holes and screw them into place in the plastic covering ring from below.
- Pull the cord of the cover tight so that the cover fits snugly.
Placement
Place the Floating Fish Dome in the pond. Press the floating ring sideways under water so that the dome is filled with pond water and any air is pushed out. Turn the dome upright below the water and let it float on the pond surface.
